Underwave Overlord
is an asymmetric turn-based strategy game inspired by Lovecraftian horror.

Playing as the Eldritch Overlord, your goal is to drown humanity.

But there is a problem:
In a direct battle, Human steel is stronger than your scales.
All Human army units have superior stats compared to your Eldritch army.

Therefore, you have two paths to victory:

• Become a tactical genius and outplay the AI from a weak position.
• Or use the Madness mechanic to break their minds and let the abyss swallow the kingdom.

MADNESS & TIDES

Fear is your greatest weapon.

You cannot always win by force alone. Utilize eldritch horrors to spread insanity among the ranks of humanity. Manipulate the ocean itself—summon massive waves, alter the terrain, and flood entire cities.

As panic rises, human resistance crumbles. Pacify their defenses with terror and drag their civilization beneath the waves.
